Singer Finally Settles Child Support Fight With Ex Girlfriend

May 12, 2015

People from all walks of life deal with child support issues. While celebrities always seem to be making headlines when it comes to their relationships, including divorce and child support, it doesn’t matter what your status is when it comes to these difficult issues. Going through these kinds of battles alone can be very stressful and you can often end up on the losing end. Having the help of an experienced attorney is always a good idea if you are going through a child support battle.

According to reports, former Oasis lead singer, Liam Gallagher has apparently ended his ongoing battle over child support payments with his former girlfriend, Liza Ghorbani. The couple had been going back and forth about child support for their two-year-old daughter basically since she was born. According to Ms. Ghorbani, the rocker has never even met his daughter. The couple had been in court several times during the last two years, as they could not agree on how much Mr. Gallagher should pay in monthly child support.

However, according to court papers, the one-time couple has apparently finally reached a settlement out of court to resolve the issue. Attorneys for both parties confirmed the news. However, as part of the agreed upon settlement, neither party is allowed to discuss the terms. According to reports, it is believed that Mr. Gallagher will actually be paying more than what the court had originally ordered him to pay, which was $5,000 a month. The judge has reviewed the settlement terms and has determined that it is an appropriate resolution. There were no reports as to whether or not Mr. Gallagher sought, or will have, any visitation rights.
